When it comes to math, practice makes perfect. Even after completing a homework assignment or working on all of the problems in a textbook, some children still need more practice to build their skills. Worksheets give children a way to improve their math skills by introducing them to a wide variety of problems. Math Game Time’s free math worksheets provide children with plenty of opportunities to practice applying their math skills. Some worksheets include standard equations, while others bring in word problems and real-life scenarios. Children will also find a selection of logic and puzzle based worksheets, including Sudoku and other fun games ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 7th grade.

The American Homeschool Association (AHA), is a service organization sponsored in part by the publishers of Home Education Magazine. The AHA was created in 1995 to network homeschoolers on a national level. Current AHA services include an online news and discussion list which provides news, information, and resources for homeschoolers, media contacts, and education officials.

Is the only place to learn from others found within the four walls of a school? If we follow the logic that socialization only comes from school, are we then to assume socialization does not occur within the family unit, at church, or on any give sports team? How about during neighborhood play or at the local playground? And if we assume socialization is a process occurring throughout our lives then what happens when we are no longer within the four walls of elementary, middle or high school? Most folks assume homeschooling dads go off to work each day while moms stay home to teach the kids. For many families, that's certainly the case. However, there's a new breed of homeschooling dads: those not satisfied being merely an observer.
