1. To constitute equivalent instruction, the kind of instruction to be given a child outside the public schools must include instruction in: (a) The core academic subjects of: (1) English, including reading, composition and writing; (2) Mathematics; (3) Science; and (4) Social studies, including history, geography, economics and government.
